Who Fears the Devil, the collected short stories about John the Balladeer, John with the silver-strung guitar, is being reissued next month! Susanna Clarke is far, far more polite than I think I'll *ever* manage to be. Yes, the book Neil Gaiman has repeatedly said is superb, and the NY Times reviewer agrees whole-heartedly. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell goes on sale Sept. 8 and can be pre-ordered from Amazon for about $20. The review sounds fascinating. (unmisha?
